Physical
fitness is an important part of everyone’s life, but it can be particularly essential for the students at TEENS+. Good
physical fitness can have a significant impact on an individual’s disability, enabling students not only to move better
but also to learn better. The TEENS+ Sports programme focuses on increasing mobility, and developing coordination and confidence.
Individual gym and exercise programmes are developed
for each student. Generally, students go swimming twice a week, to the gym, and to trampolining. However, this can increased,
or decreased, according to the needs of the individual student.
